Murray A. Roth, Jr. is a licensed attorney in Louisiana with over 25 years experience as a counselor, trial attorney and litigator.  He is a graduate of Louisiana State University where he majored in Business Administration/Pre-Law.  He then obtained his Juris Doctor Law Degree from Loyola University in New Orleans in 1995.  Murray Roth is licensed to practice in all Louisiana District and Appellate Courts, the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana, the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal, and the Louisiana Supreme Court.  Since 2002, Murray Roth has dedicated his law practice mainly to the areas of Business and Entertainment Law.

Murray Roth is very knowledgeable on the legal aspects of commercial and business matters, and he regularly represents businesses and individuals in many different types of commerical/business cases - both in litigation and non-litigation settings.  His undergraduate and graduate education centered on business and business law, and this area of the law has always been a main focus of his law practice.

Murray Roth is also very knowledgeable on the business and legal aspects of producing feature-length motion pictures and television, and he regularly provides legal services to individuals and companies operating in all areas of the motion picture industry.  Murray Roth is also very familiar with the Louisiana Motion Picture Tax Credit Program, and he often serves at symposiums and on panels to discuss the topic of film tax credits in Louisiana.  Murray Roth is also very knowledgeable on the distribution aspects of independent film production and foreign sales, and he regularly attends many of the world-wide film markets every year, including the film market at the Cannes Film Festival in Cannes, France (Marche' du Film) and the American Film Market (AFM) in Santa Monica, California.  And, Murray Roth has and continues to be a strong advocate for the film industry in his home state of Louisiana where he remains very active in this pursuit.
